The Regional and Municipal Elections (ERM 2026) will be held nationwide.
Specifically, citizens will choose 25 regional governors and 364 regional councilors in this process.
Peruvians will also select 196 provincial mayors nationwide, the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) reported.
Voters will also elect 1,724 provincial councilors, 1,696 district mayors, and 9,118 district councilors nationwide.
Overall, Peruvians will elect a total of 13,148 regional and municipal authorities.
