in Peru will be extended until July 31, 2021, Prime Minister Pedro Cateriano highlighted on Monday.
"The remote working period will be extended until July 31, 2021. To date, more than 220,000 'remote workers' have been registered, avoiding the risk of COVID-19 contagion at workplaces," he expressed.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the urgency that economic revival be accompanied by incentives to create and sustain more and better formal jobs, which are supported by social protection and aim at people's well-being.
"Therefore, we will adopt measures to facilitate the continuity of work activities in a safe way and will enable the fulfillment of labor rights despite the context of crisis," he concluded.
