Peru's Health Minister Victor Zamora has received mechanical ventilators, as well as other key equipment to treat COVID-19 patients, donated by the Government of the People's Republic of China.

According to Zamora, starting next week, Chinese experts will meet with Peruvian professionals for the technology, knowledge and experience transfer process.

"I want to thank all workers who have understood that #HealthUnitesUs. This equipment, which has been tested and approved, will be distributed to different corners of the country, including Lima," the minister stated.

On the other hand, Chinese Ambassador to Peru Liang Yu highlighted the close bonds of friendship between the two countries.
