The Public Ministry currently executes the seizure, search, unlocking, and dispossession of the home of investigated citizen Alejandro Sanchez Sanchez —within the framework of the 'Shadow Cabinet' case involving ex-President Pedro Castillo.

It is a residence located in Asia district, Cañete province (Lima region). Prosecutor's Office personnel arrived in the area to enforce the court order.

According to the prosecutorial investigation, the property would have been used by some members of the alleged criminal organization, led by ex-President Pedro Castillo, to evade preventive detention order.

"The Public Ministry executes the judicial order for the seizure, search, unlocking, and dispossession of the residence of investigated (citizen) Alejandro Sanchez Sanchez, located in Asia (Cañete), over the 'Shadow Cabinet' case," the entity reported via social media.

This is the second property of Sanchez Sanchez that has been seized.

The same measure had been applied to the home of the person under investigation on Sarratea Street in Lima Metropolitan Area's Breña district.

Last January, the National Superior Court of Specialized Criminal Justice (CSNJPE) ordered the seizure of the home and that it be administered by the State-run
National Seized Assets Program (Pronabi).

Segundo Alejandro Sanchez Sanchez is currently a fugitive from Peruvian justice.
