on Tuesday morning reported that he had tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) after being diagnosed by health personnel.
The high-ranking official indicated that he is stable and will continue working remotely.
Within this framework, the Cabinet chief called on citizens to complete their vaccination scheme against COVID-19.
"I was diagnosed as positive for COVID-19 by health personnel. I am stable and will continue working remotely for the country," Otarola expressed via Twitter.
"I call on citizens to complete their doses of vaccines provided by the Ministry of Health for free. Don't let our guard down!" he added.
