Peru President: We assume solid commitments for citizens' benefit

13:57 | Huancayo (Junin region), Apr. 16.

President Martin Vizcarra on Tuesday affirmed his administration currently assumes solid commitments for the benefit of all Peruvians in order to improve their quality of life and solve the most urgent problems.

Likewise, the Head of State noted the importance of delivering propriety titles, as these enable families to use their homes as a guarantee for bank loans.

Furthermore, the top official informed his administration is willing to finance works aimed at building an access road to Huancayo in order to replace the current one. Thus, he expects regional authorities to submit the corresponding technical file.

The statesman expressed the same willingness for constructing a road to connect Huancayo and Vraem, as well as installing a new drain system to avoid problems caused by heavy rains.

On the other hand, he underlined Peru is an amazing country, but also a challenging one, due to the problems that require solutions.

"(…) But we have the character to do it together with the mayors and governors and with the population. You are the main strength that we have to govern," President Vizcarra said.

Moreover, the Head of State recalled the Executive Branch has submitted an antitrust law aimed at preventing price concentration and negative impacts on Peruvian families' economies.

Remarks were made during the delivery of 3,519 property titles to over 10,000 citizens in the Andean city of Huancayo.
