on Friday ratified his Government's commitment to a true decentralization and to allocate the corresponding budget for the benefit of population centers.
The Head of State affirmed it is important that mayors prioritize and complete public works in order to meet the population's needs such as those related to education and health.
Mr. Castillo participated in the Executive Meeting: Strengthening the Management Capacity of Municipalities of Population Centers in Peru. The event took place at Lima Convention Center.
"Totally false, wrong; people have to get that out of their heads; we have come here to give the people health and education (services), to meet their major needs," he pointed out.
He also mentioned that corruption acts in different instances of the Peruvian State must be sanctioned.
Besides, he reiterated his call on the private sector to continue investing in the country, as it relies on legal certainty.
