Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Tuesday affirmed his administration is completely willing to
solve Las Bambas mining conflict through dialogue and coordination.
"We want to find a solution to this problem and what is the best way to solve it? Through coordination,
through dialogue. That is our proposal," the Head of State expressed.
Likewise, the top official indicated the government is willing to meet the population's demands and supports them.
Concerning the problems related to Arequipa region-based Tia Maria mining project, the statesman pointed out the government's three levels —national, regional, and local— must agree on a development plan that benefits the districts located in the influence area.
