The President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra on Wednesday led a new meeting of the Council of State to take actions and contain the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Peru.
The following chiefs of State-run organizations also participated in the event: Manuel Merino de Lama (Congress), Jose Luis Lecaros (Judiciary), Marianella Ledesma (Constitutional Court), Zoraida Avalos (Public Ministry), Walter Gutierrez (Ombudsman's Office), and Nelson Shack (Comptroller General's Office).
Representing the Executive Branch were Prime Minister Vicente Zeballos, as well as Ministers Victor Zamora (Health) and Fernando Castañeda (Justice).
