Peru President launches Pisco-Cusco commercial flights

President Martin Vizcarra on Thursday took part in the launch ceremony for LATAM Airlines' new service connecting the Peruvian cities of Pisco and Cusco.

On this occasion, children from the South-Andean Inca region were onboard the inaugural flight.

The event also saw the presence of Transport and Communications Minister Edmer Trujillo, as well as LATAM Airlines representatives.

According to the company, the Pisco-Cusco route will operate every Thursday and Sunday.


Headquartered in Chile, LATAM is considered the largest airline in Latin America with subsidiaries in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Peru.
