Articulated efforts undertaken by the Government and private sector will contribute to placing value on Peruvian regions, as well as enhancing all citizens' life quality, President Martin Vizcarra affirmed Thursday.
Remarks were made during the
launch ceremony for LATAM Airlines' Pisco-Cusco flights.
In this regard, the Head of State remarked this initiative is the outcome of public and private sectors' efforts aimed at
placing value on regions. Plus, he made a call to pursue this path in the future.
"On our
journey across the country, we find out there are regions with high demand for flights, but there is no infrastructure," the
statesman pointed out.
"In Pisco, it could be the opposite since there is infrastructure, but we need to generate demand," he added.
Likewise, the Peruvian leader noted these initiatives can help overcome the inertia, thus favoring the
Inca country's development.
"Everyone's efforts make infrastructure start to work," Mr. Vizcarra expressed while stressing the need for related activities to gain strength in order to
boost tourism in Pisco city.
"Let's continue supporting these efforts with the purpose of
making the country grow, within the State-private sector alliance (…)," he concluded.
