Peru: President brings COVID-19 vaccines to Ayacucho

The President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti on Tuesday morning arrived in the Andean city of Ayacucho to carry out a series of activities.

The tasks include delivering a batch of more than 18,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses to advance the immunization process and supervising the immunization of local teachers.

Simultaneously, this is being done in other regions. The goal is to vaccinate the 200,000 rural teachers promptly with the aim of returning to face-to-face classes.

The Head of State is joined by ministers of State and authorities of the southern region on the occasion of Teacher's Day.
