The Head of State, Dina Boluarte, currently presides over the Great Civic-Military Parade on Brasil Avenue in Lima's Jesus Maria district —as part of the commemorative events for Peru's 202nd Independence Anniversary.

Military and law enforcement personnel from the Peruvian Army, Navy, Air Force, and National Police participate in this event.

Upon arrival in the area, the top official was welcomed with high honors by the Armed Forces.

Afterwards, the Commander-in-Chief reviewed the troops and authorized a high-ranking military officer to start the activity.

Members of the Peruvian Army, Air Force, Navy, and National Police will delight spectators with their stiff march, gala uniforms, and varied equipment.

Held as part of Independence Day festivities, the parade pays tribute to Peruvian Armed Forces for their contribution to the nation.

It is also an opportunity to inspire patriotism and love for the country.
