on Saturday participated in the ceremony titled "Accion de Gracias por el Peru" (Thanksgiving for Peru), organized by Iglesias Cristianas Evangelicas del Peru (Evangelical Christian Churches of Peru).
This event started at 8:00 a.m. (local time) at Centro Evangelistico Asambleas de Dios (Assemblies of God Evangelistic Center) located in Lima's Lince district.
The event saw the presence of Cabinet Chief Alberto Otarola, as well as Ministers Vicente Romero (Interior), Magnet Marquez (Education), Daniel Maurate (Justice-Human Rights), Jorge Chavez (Defense), and Fernando Varela (Labor-Employment Promotion).
It was also attended by Ombudsman Josue Gutierrez, Constitutional Court Chairman Francisco Morales, and National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec) Chief Carmen Velarde.
The Thanksgiving for Peru is organized by various evangelical churches that pray for the country and for the well-being of all Peruvian citizens.
