Peru: President Balcazar conducts technical visit to Cajamarca region

The President of the Republic, Jose Maria Balcazar, is conducting a technical visit to Cajamarca region on Monday as part of his working agenda in northern Peru.

The Head of State landed in Chiple, a population center in Cutervo province, where his agenda will focus on regional connectivity.

The President is accompanied by Cabinet Chief Luis Arroyo, as well as Ministers Carlos Diaz (Defense), Jose Zapata (Interior), and Aldo Prieto (Transportation and Communications).

"During his stay, the President will supervise the condition of the road that will connect Chiple with Cutervo and Cochabamba," the Presidential Office reported via X.

The top official arrived in Cajamarca after traveling on Sunday to Chiclayo (Lambayeque region), where he carried out various coordination activities with authorities in that part of the country.
