Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Saturday announced the future implementation of an efficient transparency and access-to-information policy aimed at closing the State-run institutions' doors to the scourge of corruption.
In his
annual address to the nation, the statesman noted the Executive Power has been bringing up diverse tools for State-run institutions and citizens to remain alert to corruption acts, as well as to block them early.
"We are going to work with all State-run institutions on a radical and deep process to make all public information transparent, which on many occasions remains hidden (…)," the Head of State expressed.
"We are going to make things better by relying on citizens' support and a responsible press," he added.
