President Martin Vizcarra currently delivers his address to the nation from Parliament headquarters on the occasion of Independence Day celebrations.
Upon arrival at Congress, the Peruvian leader was welcomed with high honors by the Armed Forces.
As is known, Peru celebrates today the 197th anniversary of its Independence from Spain.
Within this framework, the Head of State addresses the main measures implemented by his administration during its first
four months in office.
Previously, President Vizcarra
attended Mass and Te Deum along with First Lady Maribel Diaz, State ministers, and high-ranking authorities.
