on Wednesday announced that the Ministerial Cabinet will appear before Congress on May 28 to explain the Executive Branch measures.
In a letter sent to Parliament Head, Manuel Merino de Lama, the
Prime Minister indicated that —following his suggestion— the presentation will start on May 28 at 10:00 am.
"We reiterate the Executive's commitment to comply with article 135 of the Constitution, to attend the Congress of the Republic (session) in order to explain the actions of the Executive Branch, during the parliamentary interregnum," the document read.
