Prime Minister Anibal Torres on Wednesday joined the President of the Republic Pedro Castillo at the meeting he held this morning with regional governors.

The gathering was intended to agree on an agenda which includes the regions' demands and promotes effective decentralization in the country.

This event was held at the Government Palace in Lima.

As is known, Anibal Torres was sworn in as Prime Minister last Tuesday, thus replacing Hector Valer in the post.

The Cabinet chief affirmed that, supported by vocation for service and great commitment, he will work jointly to respond to the population's priority needs.
