Peru: Fin Min gets COVID-19 booster shot

Economy and Finance Minister Pedro Francke on Wednesday received the third dose of the vaccine against the novel coronavirus.

Via social media, the 61-year-old Cabinet member briefly reported on the event.

"Today, I received the booster dose against COVID-19. Let's remember that vaccination is important to protect ourselves (from the virus) and continue protecting others, because if we are all vaccinated, Peru's economic reactivation will continue moving forward. Get vaccinated now!" he wrote on Twitter.
