On the 93rd day of the state of emergency, Peru is exactly one week away from reaching the 100th day. Within this framework, The Ministry of Health announced positive news in the fight against COVID-19: There is a significant reduction in the number of hospitalized citizens if compared to the data published on Monday, as well as a recent small decrease in seriously ill-patients at Intensive Care Units.

Indeed, 10,177 hospitalized patients were registered as of Tuesday at 00:00, while the figure was 10,295 the previous day. It meant a 118 decrease, which is a relief for the already stressed health system.
