Businesswoman Sada Goray and journalist Mauricio Fernandini remain detained at the Lima Prefecture to
comply with 10-day preliminary detention orders recently issued by the Judiciary.
The newsman was on Friday evening transferred to the Peruvian National Police's High Complexity Investigations Division (Diviac) headquarters located inside the Prefecture building in the capital city, Lima.
Afterwards, he was taken to his apartment in San Isidro district, where he and some police agents remained until approximately 8:00 p.m. (local time).
He left the building handcuffed and escorted by law enforcement members. Before getting into the police vehicle, he fell down to the ground.
Fernandini would have delivered bribes to the Housing Ministry's ex-chief of advisers, Salatiel Marrufo, on behalf of businesswoman Goray, who sought to benefit from awardings and designations at Fondo Mivivienda (My Housing Fund).
