on Friday detained real estate businesswoman Sada Goray and newsman Mauricio Fernandini, once the Judiciary had issued 10-day preliminary detention orders.
Goray was arrested at Jorge Chavez International Airport facilities in Callao region.
In turn, Fernandini was detained near the United States Embassy in Lima's Surco district.
Judge Raul Justiniano Romero had issued the aforementioned measure at the request of the Special Team of Prosecutors against Corruption of Power.
Goray and Fernandini are being investigated for alleged illegal acts committed at the Ministry of Housing, Construction, and Sanitation (MVCS), plus the payment of bribes to State officials.
