Peru's sales to Australia totaled US$58.75 million between January and April 2018, the Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) informed Tuesday.
According to PromPeru, this result was mainly underpinned by greater shipments of
traditional products.
In this sense, traditional exports to
said Oceania country amounted to US$46.05 million in the first four months of the current year.
Sectors
In the analyzed period, chemical
exports to Australia expanded 139.69% by climbing from US$729,39 (Jan-Apr 2017) to US$1.74 million (Jan-Apr 2018).
Similarly, non-metallic mining shipments to said nation increased 1,465.98%, and handicraft sales went up 379.77%.
Lastly, PromPeru pointed out the Inca country's total exports to
Australia reached US$240.17 million in 2017.
Said result was mainly underpinned by greater traditional exports.
