Peru: Executive Branch presents fifth administration report

The Executive Branch on Tuesday held a press conference to present its fifth administration report.

This event took place at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.

Previously, President Dina Boluarte swore in Victor Manuel Torres Falcon as new Interior Minister.

Thus, Torres Falcon replaces Vicente Romero Fernandez in the post, who stepped down after being censured by Congress last week.

Torres Falcon is a retired Peruvian National Police (PNP) general. He also held different positions within the institution.
