Health Minister Victor Zamora on Tuesday morning oversaw the departure of health professionals to northern
Piura region. The group is made up of 25 members, who will join the fight against COVID-19 in said region.
"We have to win the battle at the primary health care level to prevent patients from reaching hospitals in serious conditions. Many people require their care and words of encouragement," Zamora said addressing doctors and nurses before the boarding time.
"Generosity and dedication are crucial in this time of crisis. The State is at the service of people. Peru is grateful to you," the government official added.
