The European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) reported Wednesday that its observers in Peruvian regions verified the arrival of voting materials at the premises of the Decentralized Electoral Process Offices (ODPE), which are part of the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE).

"We have observed that the electoral materials have arrived at all Decentralized Electoral Process Offices (ODPE) across the country; the challenge now is to distribute it from there to polling places and then collect it afterward," Gray said.

Likewise, he indicated that the mission observed electoral institutions, as well as other entities involved in the presidential runoff, working together to ensure that the voting materials reach regions and are subsequently returned to Lima.

Gray recalled that there were some irregularities involving electoral materials in certain Lima districts during the first round.

However, the elections were observed to have proceeded normally in the rest of the country.

"We have also noted that electoral authorities have redoubled their efforts for this presidential runoff," he assured reporters.

At another point, Gray noted that the mission held meetings with the technical teams of Popular Force and Together for Peru parties, which took place ahead of the presidential runoff.

"In the coming days, we have scheduled a meeting with each presidential candidate (Keiko Fujimori and Roberto Sánchez)," he said.
