MEF: Peru's public investment for October reached its highest level in last decade

Economy and Finance Minister Denisse Miralles highlighted that public investment reached S/44.085 billion (US$13.043 billion) between January and October of this year —the highest level in the last decade and 6% above that recorded in 2024.

"For 2025, the completion of 15 flagship projects in transportation, health, and education is expected, benefiting over one million Peruvians. Meanwhile, in additional 14 projects will be added in 2026, positively impacting the lives of more than two million citizens," she emphasized.

The Cabinet member added that the Ministry of Economy and Finance's (MEF) participation in the recent 9th Regional State Council reaffirms the government's commitment to working in a coordinated, technical, and transparent manner with subnational governments.

"This consolidates a responsible management of public resources and a continuity-focused approach that ensures economic stability, efficiency, as well as development for all regions of the country," she stated.
