As reported via its official Twitter account, the visit of a foreign minister from that Asian country will take place after nearly five years.

Japanese minister toured the region at the beginning of the current year. He visited Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, and the United States.
The purpose of his visit on that occasion was to strengthen Japan's relationship with Latin America.
