The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday reported that the evacuation of Peruvian citizen Feker El Alabi, her husband, and their three minor children from Gaza to Egyptian territory was achieved after intense arrangements with our Embassy in Egypt.

This was reported by the Foreign Affairs Ministry via X (formerly known as Twitter).

The Peruvian government agency stated that our compatriot and her family "are already safe in Egyptian territory after the bombing of their home in the conflict zone."

Born in Chimbote, compatriot Feker El Alabi left Peru at age 8 and moved to that zone of the Middle East, where she married a Palestinian citizen, with whom she has three minor children.

As is known, her home was destroyed by bombing in the Gaza Strip

The Peruvian woman stated that none of her family members were inside the house at the time of the attack, because they had gone out to look for food.

However, Feker El Alabi indicated that the house she lived in, as well as all other properties on the same block, look unrecognizable after the bombing.

Therefore, she, her husband, and her minor children were staying at a temporary shelter.
