52 Peruvian residents in Israel evacuated on Ecuadorian humanitarian flight

The Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday reported that 52 compatriots who reside in Israel are being evacuated on a humanitarian flight by the Ecuadorian Government.

This message is in accordance with the announcement made by Peruvian President Dina Boluarte.

The top official explained that said flight departed from Tel Aviv (Israel) on Sunday afternoon (local time). After a stopover in Madrid (Spain), it will arrive in Quito (Ecuador) in the early hours of Monday.

Afterwards, the Consulate General of Peru in the Ecuadorian capital will provide compatriots with the necessary assistance for their stay and subsequent transfer to the Peruvian capital, Lima.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry reported that Peru's Ambassador to Israel, Manuel Cacho-Sousa, assisted and accompanied the compatriots in their boarding process.

Upon arrival in Quito, they will be received by the Peruvian ambassador to Ecuador and by the consul general based in said city.

The Government of Peru expressed its high appreciation and thanked its counterpart of Ecuador for the fraternal gesture, which constitutes another example of the brotherhood and solidarity ties uniting both nations.
