497,250 Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine doses land in Peru

A new batch of 497,250 vaccines from Pfizer pharmaceutical company arrived at Lima's Jorge Chavez International Airport on Thursday evening, Justice and Human Rights Minister Eduardo Vega has reported.

The cargo was brought from Amsterdam (the Netherlands) on a flight operated by KLM.

The government official remarked that this new batch will be added to the more than 9.1 million vaccines that Peru has received over the past weeks.



Moreover, the negotiations to get 3 million doses in July and another 2 million in August are being completed.
