Peru reduces bureaucracy and expects to save more than US$ 1 billion

The Peruvian government is reducing bureaucracy by eliminating 14 infrastructure programs across various ministries in order to concentrate them in a single entity. This would generate savings of S/ 4 billion (approximately US$1.1 billion) by 2026, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) announced.
