The President of the Republic, Jose Jeri, stated on Thursday that the Transitional and National Reconciliation Government he leads maintains an open-door approach and is connected to Peru.

"Any situation that you consider we should be aware of, we will address it. All of us here work for Peru, for every region, province, and district," he expressed at the ceremony for improvements to the Chancay Artisanal Fishing Dock (DPA).

The Head of State said circumstances led him to assume the Presidency of the Republic on a temporary basis.

The top official mentioned that improvements to the DPA will serve as a model to be replicated at future DPAs inaugurated during his administration.

He added that efforts under the plan will be intensified, taking planning criteria into account.

"We cannot keep acting only based on circumstances; we have to plan, we have to design the Peru of the future. And that planning starts now. That is why it is important to give a new boost to the development of DPAs nationwide. They are extremely important," he expressed.

The Head of State also expressed his commitment to address the hospital issue and oversee the investments planned by the National Infrastructure Authority (ANIN), using mechanisms that allow these resources to be secured.

The top official indicated that this is a commitment of the Peruvian State, not just of the government.

"There is a commitment to continue supporting the development of Chancay, for what you represent to us as a country at this moment and for what you will represent in the future as well. Give us the time, Mr. Mayor, to determine the best mechanism to begin this State commitment," Jeri stated.

The sanitary authorization protocol was delivered to the Chancay Artisanal Fishing Dock (DPA) during this ceremony.

The event included the participation of Production Minister Cesar Quispe and local authorities.
