In turn, U.S. Ambassador to Peru Bernie Navarro congratulated Fujimori, who defeated her opponent, Roberto Sanchez, according to 100% of the ballots counted by the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE).
"Congratulations to Keiko Fujimori, President-elect of Peru. As President Trump’s representative in Peru, I affirm that the United States looks forward to continuing the collaborative work and close partnership between our countries with Peru’s new government. We will continue to work together on regional security and trade for the prosperity of our peoples," he expressed on X.

Keiko Fujimori thanked the U.S. Secretary of State for his message and said she looks forward to working jointly with the Trump administration to deepen cooperation between the two countries.
"I am deeply grateful to United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio for his kind words. I look forward to working with him, with President Trump, and members of the Trump Administration to continue to deepen the ties that have brought our countries together for more than two hundred years," Fujimori stated on X.
"I know that we will work hard to enhance security cooperation and bring greater investment and economic opportunities to benefit our peoples," she added.

The National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) completed the count of 100% of the electoral records, showing candidate Keiko Fujimori as the apparent winner (50.135%) compared with Roberto Sanchez (49.865%).
