Ronaldinho: Peru's Guerrero is one of the world's best strikers

14:29 | Lima, Jun. 12.

Ronaldinho —one of the best Brazilian players in the world— did not hesitate to affirm Peruvian striker Paolo Guerrero could make the difference at 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The Brazilian star is currently in Lima to make an appearance in a Callao-based exhibition match.

Ronaldinho took advantage of his time in the Andean nation to share his views on the national team and its main players.

In this sense, he said Paolo Guerrero is one of the top strikers worldwide, and his performance at Brazilian soccer clubs is proof of that.

"Guerrero plays in Brazil (for Flamengo), and I know him. To me, he is one of the best strikers in the world. So, I think he can make the difference," the 38-year-old told Canal N local channel on Tuesday.

As is known, Peru qualified for the FIFA World Cup after 36 years. The squad is placed in Group C, along with France, Denmark, and Australia.

The Brazilian will join a Sport Boys Club's event Wednesday to take part in an exhibition match against Cantolao soccer academy squad at Miguel Grau Stadium in the port city of Callao.

The foreign genius joined an exhibition match defending Peru's Cusco-based Cienciano Club back in 2016.
