Russia 2018: Peru drawn with France, Denmark and Australia

Peru was placed in the same Group as France, Denmark and Australia in the FIFA World Cup final draw held Friday in Russia.

Argentine soccer champion Maradona drew the balls from Pot 2 and put Gareca's side in Group C.

The red-white squad's first match will be played against Denmark on June 16 in Saransk.

Then, then Incas will clash with France on June 21 in Yekaterinburg, before facing Australia on June 26 in Sochi.

Peru was placed in Pot 2 along with Colombia, Croatia, England, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, and Uruguay.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup will kick off on June 14.
