Peru's top striker Paolo Guerrero affirmed he does not rule out the possibility of playing in Argentina —whose soccer tournament is very competitive.
"Who knows, someday. One [an athlete] —who is a professional— can't dismiss any chances," Guerrero said in an interview with ESPN.
He noted that any professional player would like to defend one of the Argentinean league's top teams, although he does not have a favorite squad.
Later, the governing body reduced such
suspension to six months —a decision which might allow the athlete to play the 2018 World Cup.
The Peruvian forward currently
joins training sessions in Argentina to be in good shape for soccer's most important tournament taking place in Russia this year.
