Peru's top striker Paolo Guerrero on Friday traveled to Buenos Aires (Argentina), where he will join training sessions comprised in the strategy led by national team's coach Ricardo Gareca and technical staff to keep the player in good shape.
"He [Gareca] asked me to get ready physically and psychologically. So, I will have the opportunity to train in a neutral field," Guerrero expressed last Thursday.
"My plan is to get prepared very well [...]," he added.
It must be noted this strategy will help the player get ready for the
2018 World Cup, as well as to make up for the lost time due to the current suspension imposed on him by FIFA.
For this reason, Guerrero's attorneys last Monday officially submitted an appeal to CAS in order to seek the
player's acquittal.
