Peru's national soccer team will play its last World Cup match against Australia this Tuesday in Sochi at 5:00 PM (local time), a good opportunity to clinch victory and dedicate it to national striker Jefferson Farfan, as well as to red-white fans.
As is known,
Farfan was admitted to a hospital in Moscow last Saturday after he suffered a hard blow to his head during a training session.
Despite the results, the Incas gave a great performance at the World Cup tournament, for which they had qualified after 36 years.
"I have great confidence in you, (my) team. I know you are going to bring us happiness," Farfan posted on social media.
"And remember this is the great start of what is coming ahead for our squad. Go Peru (...)!" he added.
