Peru Ambassador presents credentials to Hungarian President

Peruvian Ambassador Fernando Rojas Samanez presented his credentials to Hungarian President Janos Ader, the Andean country's Foreign Affairs Ministry reported.

The event took place during a special ceremony held in Budapest on May 29. 

Such credentials recognize the appointment of Rojas as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to the European country.

After extending Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski's greetings to the Hungarian leader, the Ambassador expressed his government's willingness to boost bilateral relations.

In this context, the diplomat highlighted the upcoming reopening of Hungary's Embassy in the Andean country. 

Likewise, Mr. Ader expressed his concern regarding natural disasters unleashed in Peru in the January-March period. In addition, he showed interest in the Inca nation's reconstruction process.

Afterwards, the diplomat placed a wreath at the city's historic Heroes Square.

As is known, Mr. Rojas also serves as Peruvian Ambassador to Austria.
