Set to take place on January 24, the next National Agreement (AN) Forum session will aim to combine immediate, effective and accelerated measures against corruption, AN Meetings Coordinator Max Hernandez stated.
The mentioned audience will continue with the analysis on fight against corruption and seek for similarities in the proposals submitted by the Presidential Integrity Commission and the Justice and Human Rights Ministry.
"We will see how we can combine immediate, effective and accelerated measures against corruption," he told Andina news agency.
As is known, the 117th Forum session took place last Thursday at Lima's Government Palace. At the site, the meeting saw a written agreement inked by attendees.
"There is a series of ideas set out for each group of participants, which are matching with the National Agreement's State policies," Hernandez said.
He went on to add participating groups are expected to meet in the coming days to prepare proposals that will be discussed at the next session.
Hernandez also praised the Government's initiative to combat the scourge of corruption thanks to the approval of the Civil Death Law aimed at weeding out corrupt politicians from public offices and prevent them from continuing to serve the State.
National Agreement
Said Forum is part of a dialogue process started weeks ago by President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, who met with various Congress' political forces to reach consensus on the national agenda.
The Executive Power called this gathering with the aim of discussing proposals submitted during the aforementioned audiences.
The National Agreement gathers political parties, labor-, business-guilds, and professional schools.
