President participates in recognition ceremony for Peru's Best Tourism Villages

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Thursday participated in a ceremony to recognize five Peruvian towns, considered the world's Best Tourism Villages in 2023.

Chacas, Chavin de Huantar, Paucartambo, Pozuzo, and Taquile were included on the List of Best Tourism Villages 2023 released by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) last October.

Today's ceremony was held at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
