President of Peru, Jose Jeri got a 48.25% approval rating, at the beginning of his period as Chief of State according to the latest poll by the consulting firm Imasolu, conducted in Metropolitan Lima between October 24 and 26, 2025.
The poll, based on a sample of 600 people with a margin of error of ±4.0 percentage points, indicates that 32.83% of respondents approve of Jeri's presidential performance, because he maintains direct contact with the public, while another 22.11% cite his transparency and constant communication as reasons for his public presence.
Meanwhile, the poll adds, 15.72% approve of Jeri because he is young and less tainted by corruption, and 14.51% because they believe he will fight against citizen insecurity.
In statements to Radio Exitosa, Enzo Elguera, director of Imasolu, highlighted that the approval rating “has generated expectation since the beginning of his presidential period,” demonstrating a change in political communication compared to the previous administration of Dina Boluarte.
In that regard, Elguera mentioned that President Jose Jeri “has developed a very efficient, effective, and timely communication strategy.”
However, the study also reflects a negative perception of the national political situation: 43.50% of those surveyed consider it bad, while 38.67% rate it as very bad.
In response, Elguera indicated that these figures reflect “a loss of faith in the political class,” resulting from “the lack of effectiveness” in previous administrations and the behavior of some members of parliament.
“Public disappointment cuts across all political lines,” he added.
