"I call on all Peruvians to stand united and look with optimism at 2024; this 2023 that is now ending has been difficult, but here we continue to stand fighting firmly, joined by honesty and transparency," Mrs. Boluarte expressed.
The top official said her administration's priority is to achieve stability, economic reactivation, better citizen security, and our compatriots' progress.

"The love for the homeland and commitment to the defense of sovereignty are the Navy's pillars; these are the values that we see in the 74 new officers of the class made up of brave Peruvian men and women from various parts of the country who, after five years of effort and dedication, concluded this intense training stage," she expressed.
"A Navy that is always there when the population needs it and that has to deal with the threats of nature such as El Niño phenomenon, developing (public) works in the country's north; thus, in unity, we move forward so that this El Niño (phenomenon) won't be very strong," she added.
Mrs. Boluarte also highlighted the construction of new maritime units at the
Navy Industrial Services (SIMA), as well as its fight against terrorist remnants in the
Valley of Apurimac, Ene, and Mantaro Rivers (VRAEM).
