Presidency on COVID-19 vaccination: If we stand united, Peru will move forward

The Presidency of the Republic on Tuesday affirmed that by guaranteeing the COVID-19 vaccination process for adults and minors more families are encouraged to comply with receiving their booster doses and bring their children to vaccination centers.

This way, serious COVID-19 cases can be prevented, it noted.

"If we stand united, the country will move forward," the Presidential Office emphasized.



The figure accounts for 28.01% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.

Cases


Within this framework, 1,306 cases were detected and 44 people passed away due to the virus on the analyzed day.

23,107,179 samples tested negative for COVID-19 —out of a total of 26,556,891.

It must be noted 3,467,476 people have been discharged and declared healthy. Other 3,586 were hospitalized.
