Peru: Over 59.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

59,601,868 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.

Out of that total, 23,503,379 were given as second dose.
Within this framework, 9,182,277 citizens have been vaccinated with a booster dose.

This figure represents 67.5% of the vulnerable population.

It also accounts for 28.01% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.
