Peruvian, Uruguayan Presidents meet in U.S.

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte held a meeting with Uruguayan counterpart Luis Lacalle on Thursday —within the framework of her official visit to Washington, D.C.

Topics of bilateral interest were addressed on this occasion.

The covered aspects were linked to economic cooperation and support for the population that may be affected by climate change and its manifestations.

Both Mrs. Boluarte and Mr. Lacalle are in the U.S. capital to participate in the meeting of Heads of State and Government of the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity (APEP).

Today's event took place at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) headquarters. 


Previously, Peru's top official met with her counterpart from Costa Rica, Rodrigo Chaves.

At the end of said meeting, Mr. Chaves expressed satisfaction over the gathering.
