The recent arrests of dangerous criminals, including those known by the aliases "El Monstruo" and "Pequeño J," were highlighted during the session.
"Together against organized crime! The Presidency of the Republic of Peru held a working meeting with the Vice President of El Salvador, Felix Ulloa, to strengthen cooperation on security and the fight against international crime," the Presidential Office reported on X last Thursday.
At this event, both authorities expressed their interest in working in a coordinated manner.
Likewise, they exchanged experiences and initiatives to strengthen security, reinforce penitentiary policies, and achieve greater bilateral trade.
"The government continues working to strengthen its diplomatic ties and achieve goals through a concrete agenda for the well-being of Peruvians," the Presidential Office highlighted in a video.
This event was held at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
