Peru's Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi met with her counterpart from the Czech Republic, Jan Lipavsky —within the framework of the third EU-CELAC Summit.

As is known, said event brings EU leaders and those from the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) together in Brussels.

During the meeting, Gervasi and Lipavsky highlighted their agreement on the global agenda's main issues and the strength of bilateral relations, the Peruvian Foreign Affairs Ministry reported via Twitter.

Likewise, they discussed deepening economic cooperation, promoting investment and research, as well as signing agreements on education, culture, and science.

Last Monday, the Peruvian minister held bilateral meetings with her counterparts from Portugal, João Gomes Cravinho; and Chile, Alberto van Klaveren, with whom she addressed various topics.

The Peruvian diplomat is on a working trip to Brussels (Belgium) and Geneva (Switzerland), with the aim of continuing to strengthen Peru's position in the international arena.
